The Customer is not Always Right. Volume 1 (The Intro)

Welcome to the first installment of the Customer is not Always Right opinion piece by yours truly. I have spent most of my working life in the customer service industry in one way or another. Whether it’s been the restaurants, fast food, retail, medical, and construction industries I have pretty much dealt with it all when it comes to the front line of customer service and believe me when I tell you dealing with the public isn’t for the weak at heart or mind. Don’t get me wrong not all experiences with the public are bad, but that’s not what this is about. This is about those Karen’s and Kevin’s (since the internet couldn’t decide what the male Karen is called I choose Kevin, I haven’t met too many Kevin’s that I actually liked anyways), this is about what people in the service industry actually go through and what most of us wish we could actually say to these psychopaths that we unluckily encounter on a daily basis. Now even though I would love to use these people’s real names, and put them on blast, but unfortunately I wont be using last names and the first names have been changed, mainly to save me from any unnecessary headaches or issues that frankly I don’t feel like dealing with because some of these people have taken enough of my soul already. So stay tuned as I will be posting at least bi-weekly and we can go on this journey into what the fuckville together. Cheers!
